Wesely is a German photographer specialising in ultra-long exposure photography. The image below was commissioned by MoMa to record the building’s reconstruction. In a series of images, some exposed for up to 34 months, the changes in the building and the passage of the sun can be seen.
Presumably the technique involves tiny or pin hole apertures coupled with filters. And a sturdy tripod!
